Position Overview
We are hiring an experienced Assistant Superintendent / Field Engineer who understands how a job site operates, takes pride in doing things the right way, and can execute a variety of self-perform tasks without constant supervision.
This is a full-time, field-based role supporting active tenant improvement projects throughout the Denver metro area. The position reports directly to the Superintendent and plays a critical role in maintaining job site standards, supporting subcontractors, and helping keep projects on schedule through disciplined execution.
For the right candidate, this role offers meaningful opportunity for growth within Sprink’s field leadership team, including advancement into expanded Superintendent responsibilities over time.
What You'll Do For Us
Key Responsibilities
- Self-perform a wide range of construction and facilities-related tasks
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
- Support and coordinate with subcontractor crews
- Assist with material handling, deliveries, and job site logistics
- Complete punch list and closeout work with attention to detail
- Read and interpret basic plans, specifications, and punch lists
- Identify and proactively address minor field issues before they escalate
- Represent Sprink professionally on site and in public settings
Self-Perform Scope May Include
- Site cleanup and material handling
- Light to moderate demolition
- Operation of hand and power tools
- Assist with material handling, deliveries, and job site logistics
- Equipment and tool delivery between job sites
- Power washing and window cleaning
- Installation of specialties, signage, fire extinguishers, and project-specific components
- Light painting
- Ceiling tile repair and replacement
- Flooring touch-ups
- Punch list and project closeout tasks
- Minor plumbing and general trade support
Qualifications
- Experience with tenant improvements or interior build-outs preferred
- 3–5+ years of commercial construction or facilities maintenance experience
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred
- Ability to work independently and remain productive without direct oversight
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work throughout the day

Compensation & Benefits
- Approximately $30+/hour depending on experience, plus bonus potential
- $1,500 signing bonus after 90 days
